Below you can find an instruction on how to create a new Metis Security Role and assign to a user.

LOGIN TO METIS

1. SELECT "METIS

2. SELECT "SECURITY ROLES"

3. SELECT "NEW"

 

SECURITY ROLE SETUP

1. ENTER A NAME FOR THE NEW SECURITY ROLE.

 

2. SELECT THE DIFFERENT AREAS (SECURITY AREA ACCESS)
    THAT YOU WANT THE NEW ROLE TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS.
    BY DEFAULT, THE MOST COMMON NON-ADMINISTRATIVE AREAS ARE ENABLED.

 

 

OBJECT SECURITY

In the object security settings, you can decide what kind of access other security roles should have to the data created by the new security role.

By default this feature is disabled, but you can enable it and set up security on assessments, persons, and criteria. 

1. SET UP THE ACCESS LEVEL FOR NEW SECURITY ROLE

 

 

 SELECT SAVE TO COMPLETE THE SECURITY ROLE CREATION.

 

 

ASSIGN THE NEW SECURITY ROLE TO A USER.

GO TO "USER LOGINS"

 

 

 

1. SELECT THE METIS USER YOU WANT TO ASSIGN TO THE NEW SECURITY ROLE

 

2. SELECT THE "SECURITY ROLE"

 

 

SELECT SAVE TO COMPLETE THE USER SECURITY ROLE ASSIGNMENT.
