With Windows 8 and 10, Microsoft has introduced SmartScreen filtering at the desktop level

performing reputation checks by default on any file or application downloaded from the Internet.

Our software is always signed with the latest in verification certificates
and since Metis Version 10.8 is a brand new version our current reputation is automatically reset.

Users who install and run Metis 10.8 for the first time may be presented
with the following Microsoft Windows SmartScreen message.

If presented with the below message when starting METIS press “More info”

In the next window press "Run anyway"

 In some cases, you may need to contact your IT department to obtain user rights.
